A man has been arrested and accused of murder after horrifying footage showed him dragging a wheelbarrow that had a body on top.
According to local media reports, the footage was from Hong Kong, where one witness described seeing the unthinkable during the broad daylight hours.
There was a dead body on top of the vehicle and he so randomly started dragging it across the street that it gave the witness chills, forming him to contact the relevant authorities and register a complaint.
Now, sources revealed that the man has been arrested and has been identified as Wu. He is being accused of carrying out his own girlfriend’s murder and trying to dispose of her body during the day.
The body was stated to be wrapped around a quilt to try and disguise it from public view but the job had been done so poorly that it was immediately identified as suspicious by the witness.
The exact location of the gruesome incident was identified by authorities as Tin Shui, which is stated to be a satellite town that is present in the northwestern region of Hong Kong.
“We received the horrifying report from one witness during the early hours of the morning. It was 6 am and we sent out police teams to investigate the matter. They were able to catch the man red-handed and immediately arrest him”- the police chief continued.
The suspect is currently under police custody and is being interrogated in regard to the incident. He is believed to be 25 years old, as confirmed by local media outlets recently.
For now, investigations are continuing as the victim’s loved ones have been informed about the tragic news, leaving them in a state of numbness and grief.
