A woman has reportedly fallen head over heels for a man who also happens to be her stepbrother.
You might think this couple wouldn’t receive blessings from their parents but it so turns out that it’s the mom who is the one who encouraged her daughter the most. “She says follow your heart and never look back. And that’s exactly what I did”- the young woman named Matilda Eriksson says.
The couple’s parents reported getting married in the year 2019 and then they began dating around three years after that.
After a few of their pals had voiced concerns, Matilda’s mom says she told her daughter to go with the flow and ignore all the critics that opted to come her way. And that’s not the only family support they got.
With time, Matilda’s father-in-law had even hoped for her and her partner to get together as one.
But it was the opposite response from her friends. They were not only judgemental but also began to speak about how her relationship wouldn’t last long. And that didn’t make her happy.
I never thought I would be getting married to someone like that, she revealed but it’s one of her life’s best decisions, she continued to mention.
Her recent interview with Yahoo saw images of the couple’s marriage get released for the first time and people were in awe.
They not only looked great together but they were bold enough to lean in for a kiss too at a mega family event. Clearly, people were not expecting that by miles.
Matilda says that at first, she had many doubts about her own relationship. Her feelings were mixed because he was her step-sibling but now that she looks back at it, she’s got no regrets whatsoever.
