Russia’s first senior female officer has passed away just moments after she boasted about killing innocent Ukrainians during a recent major attack.
According to reports from local media outlets, the commander was identified as Lieutenant Colonel Olga Kursa Kachura who was aged 52 at the time of her death.
Kachura passed away during a recent missile strike in Ukraine, leaving her countrymen shattered as she was remembered as a bold and fierce fighter by many who applauded her efforts in taking part in the intense war.
But it appears her celebrations regarding the killing of innocent civilians in Ukraine didn’t last long as she died just moments after she boasted about her and her troop’s achievements in this regard.
Kachura died when a missile fired by Ukraine’s forces struck her vehicle in the country’s city of Horlivka, which is present in the Donetsk region.
The news marks one of the first female officers of high caliber being killed in the aftermath of the war in Ukraine.
She was described to be a part of the rocket artillery division that shelled innocent civilians in the Donetsk People’s Republic. As a result, hundreds of Ukrainians have been killed in the area as confirmed by the country’s local media reports.
