A father brutally attacked a man who attempted to force himself on his young daughter in an elevator.
CCTV footage in the lift caught the moment the man tried to lean in and kiss the 15-year-old girl while in the elevator in a block of apartments in Surgut, Russia.
In the video, the man can be seen staring at the teen before approaching her and leaning in for a kiss.
He was filmed trying to force himself on the girl two times before the elevator stopped and the doors finally opened.
The 15-year-old girl pushed the man with her elbow and walked away. Only seconds later, the girl’s father punched the man in the face and dragged him out of the elevator.
The clip ended with the father hitting the man numerous times in the corridor.
Police said that an investigation into the incident was opened and that authorities are considering charging the man of attempted rape of a minor.
One person commented: “I think most parents would do the same. As a 66 year old woman I’d certainly slap his face or kick him in his crotch. I’d happily have my day in court.”
Another wrote: “I must say very lucky guy! If he was caught when I was the same age, my father and grandfather would still be in prison… after 35 years… but he wouldn’t cause any more problems!”
A third said: “Good for Dad – I wonder how many other girls he assaulted and terrified before this father caught up with him.”
Someone else added: “She’s lucky to get away. He could have stopped that elevator mid/floor and done far far worse.”
