A family is expressing their absolute heartbreak after a 4-year-old girl was mauled to death by their own American bulldog.

Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how the child had reportedly passed away after the horrendous attack ensued inside their own garden.

The dog reportedly left the child in a debilitated state with critical injuries that just couldn’t be overcome. And in the end, she just couldn’t make it out alive.

The family has mentioned how they are just coming to terms with what has happened and how the tragedy is just beyond upsetting for obvious reasons.

Little Alice Stones was reportedly savaged by the animal in her own back garden. The terrifying incident took place in Broadlands in Netherfield during the later hours of the night.

Today, it was heartbreaking to see men dressed in forensic suits arriving at the victim’s home. They were there to collect more evidence regarding the current investigations taking place.

A tent had also reportedly been placed in the home’s garden where detectives and the police carried out a detailed examination of what may have occurred and how the wild beast pounced on the child.

One neighbor confirmed how she had heard horrifying screams take center stage. She was mortified to learn that it was just heartbreaking how the entire tragedy unfolded.

For now, the Thames Valley Police have refused to comment on the matter. They are also not shedding light on the breed of the dog and hope to figure out more answers to unexplainable questions regarding the whole heartbreaking incident that took away the life of one young girl.
