According to Jordan Willis’ attorney, he had ‘no knowledge’ of what was happening in his backyard after they had gathered at his house in Kansas City, Missouri, to watch the game.

The Kansas City Police Department reported that they do not suspect foul play in the devastating deaths of David Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36.

But the families and loved ones of the three fans are demanding answers.

Harrington, Johnson and McGeeney went to Willis’ house to watch the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Los Angeles Charges on January 7 before the homeowner went to bed, leaving the three men and another friend in his house.

According to the Daily Mail, Willis claimed that he stayed inside his home the following day without noticing his friends’ cars still parked outside.

On January 9, McGeeney’s fiancée panicked after two days of silence from her fiancé. She then broke into Willis’ home and screamed his name.

Captain Jake Becchina of the Kansas City Police Department said that the case was not being investigated as a homicide.

“There have not been any arrests [or] charges, and no one is in custody,” he said, adding that there were no concerns or threats for the community.

Toxicology reports are still pending, which could reveal if drugs or alcohol played a role in the victims’ deaths.

Willis’ attorney, John Picerno, stated that his client was not aware of the situation happening outside his home until police arrived.

Family and friends of the men are now demanding answers and questioning Willis actions.

Johnson’s brother, Jonathan Prince, told the Daily Mail: “There’s many different things that don’t add up… We’ve heard that he’s moving out as well, so we don’t know if he’ll even be sticking around much longer.”

Harrington’s mother, Jennifer Marquez, also said: “Nobody believes this story. None of his friends, none of the families, none of us believe it… Everybody is furious.”

A friend of the men took to Facebook and wrote: “(Willis) was inside his home alive while my friends were dead in his yard for lord knows how long. They were all hanging out since after the game Sunday.

“He KNEW people were looking for them. He read messages of people searching for him on Tuesday. My husband banged on his door for 20 min. My friend banged on his door and then busted a window and yelled and announced her presence while she’s inside and still nothing from him??

“Then the cops come 10 min later and he comes out nonchalant in his boxers with an empty wine glass in hand??! Nothing is adding up. Dave, Clay, and Ricky need and deserve justice. They didn’t deserve this.”
