Seeing a pet alligator this big has left the world dumbfounded and the fact that she claims that she stole the egg from the zoo and then went on to raise just that has people confused.

After all, alligators are not the world’s friendliest creatures, not to mention how dangerous they can be too. But whatever the case may be, this woman says she never feared to be in its presence.

The woman reportedly did not have the right legal permits to go about with the actions of stealing the egg and then raising it, the authorities have confirmed.

Clearly, it’s an act of great violation and they feel it should have never taken place, to begin with.

They further revealed how the alligator was awfully friendly with her but that does not mean she had the rights over it. Moreover, they believe that a point had come where people were calling her out for posing a serious threat to the community as the creature had the capability of breaking her fence and attacking others.

Wildlife experts took the gator into their custody and are now dealing with the aftermath of the situation. They believe animals of this species have the tendency of growing as large as 14 feet and can weigh more than 55 stone.

They even spoke about how American gators of this kind are commonly found in the likes of rivers, marshes, and swamps. Females have the tendency to lay up to 30 to 70 eggs during the breeding season too.
