A man was left devastated after doctors mistakenly removed his private parts in a botched procedure.
The bizarre incident took place in Arezzo, Italy, where a 30-year-old urologist at San Donato Hospital has been accused of falsely diagnosing a patient in his 60s with a tumor before proceeding to amputate his pen*s entirely.
Following the botched procedure, the man’s private part underwent an analysis only for the doctors to discover that there was no tumor in it and that the operation was entirely unnecessary.
The patient has since launched a case against his doctor and demanded compensation.
Previously, a young man from France also lost his member due to a series of errors that saw him undergo an irreversible procedure at Nantes University Hospital.
“I have hatred towards this doctor who did not listen to me. He played Russian roulette with me!” the young victim said last year.
“I’m really devastated and it’s really shameful. He had removed everything. He had just left the testicles and had cut at the base.”
While the man had hoped to receive over $1 million in damages at first, he was eventually awarded a compensation of just $65,000.
A similar case also took place in the States two decades ago when Hurshell Ralls, who was 67 at the time, lost his private parts in a procedure to remove cancer. As the man insisted, however, he was never informed that the doctors would be removing his pen*s and testicles.
“My wife had to hold my hand in the bed there. And she said ‘Honey it’s over. They got all the cancer.’ And she waited a few minutes and then said ‘But they had to remove your penis.’ And I was one mad dude, you know,” Ralls said at the time.
