JUST IN: Debris From TITANIC Submersible Is Finally Brought Ashore After ‘Catastrophic Implosion’ That Killed Five People On Board

Large pieces, including the nose with a porthole that the passengers would have used to view the wreckage of the Titanic, were unloaded at the Canadian Coast Guard pier in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada.

The chunks of metal were put on trucks that took them away for further investigation. Other parts appear to be the sub’s landing frame and outer cover.

A huge circular piece of Titan was also found and retrieved. Another part looks like antennae that protruded from the top of the vessel.

This comes ten days after the submersible called Titan disappeared during its trip to the Titanic wreckage.

After a massive search and rescue mission, it was revealed that the vessel had suffered a ‘catastrophic implosion’ and killed all five people on board.

A debris field was discovered on the seabed, 1600ft from the bow of the Titanic.

The US Coast Guard has launched an investigation into the cause of the implosion.

Jason Neubauer, the Coast Guard’s chief investigator, said: “My primary goal is to prevent a similar occurrence by making the necessary recommendations to enhance the safety of the maritime domain worldwide.

“The MBI is already in its initial evidence-collection phase, including debris salvage operations at the incident site.”

Canada reportedly said that it was carrying out its own probe.

British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman were killed on board alongside OceanGate’s CEO Stockton Rush and French national Paul-Henri Nargeolet.
