Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a young woman who recently plunged to her death from the window of her home.
According to local media outlets, emergency services rushed to the scene after reports were made by witnesses who saw the woman falling down from the hotel’s sixth floor.
The tragedy is believed to have taken place in Majorca, Spain. But despite rescue efforts being made on time, she passed away.
At the moment, investigations into the heartbreaking incident are taking place to determine why the young woman fell from such a height in the first place.
The building was said to be a stunning hotel with a sea view front. Moreover, the bizarre incident was said to have taken place during the morning hours.
Meanwhile, the police in Majorca say the homicide unit has been tasked with the duty of taking over the investigation.
The alarm was raised at about 9:30 am, and despite the efforts of paramedics and rescue services, it was in vain. The woman was pronounced dead on the spot.
As of now, the police on the Spanish island is taking a look at all of the factors that may have been involved in this particular incident.
“It’s definitely very bizarre, and we need to look at all details”,- the Spanish police mentioned.
The victim’s family has been traced and informed about the ordeal, adding how they were in absolute shock and grief.
The woman from the United Kingdom was thought to be living alone with another man. There are conflicting reports if that was her partner or just another stranger.
At the moment he is also being interrogated by the police, sources explained.
