According to local media reports, David and Edward King were deemed by the court of law for stabbing and killing Neil Charles.

The accused claim they were forced to take the law into their own hands recently after the robber began carrying out various incidents of theft in the neighborhood.

Neil had been seen on CCTV footage trying to break into several homes and cars including those of his killers, explained the police.

Therefore, when the Kings spotted him through their CCTV camera footage, they decided to get rid of him, once and for all. The duo reportedly searched for the most violent weapons around but they couldn’t find anything that they felt would be sharp enough to carry out the killings. Hence, when they saw the robber was equipped with a dagger and a sword that was nothing less than ninja style, they thought why not use this.

The duo slowly crept their way toward the man and used the sword to kill the 47-year-old, fatally stabbing him on several attempts until they were sure that he was no more.

Both son and father reportedly spoke to each other via text messages and revealed the desire to kill the thief as well as catch other criminals in the area because they had a strange fascination with weapons, the court heard.

The jury was informed how the duo refused to have the police involved in the robbery and hence chose to take matters into their own hand and deal with the robber in that regard.
