A daycare center has come under scrutiny after calling the police on a concerned parent who called them out over their teachings.
As the anonymous parent from Sydney revealed, they were left in shock after spotting a giant Pride flag and an entire wall section full of different flags and symbols representing different genders and s*xualities in their 5-year-old son’s classroom.
To make matters worse, Roseville Kids Club decided to call the cops on the parent after they complained about young children being taught about terms such as “non-binary, lesbian, and pans*xual.”
“I visited it and was shocked that there was a giant out-size Pride flag, it was the biggest flag in the room, far bigger than the Australian flag,” the angry parent said in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
“When I went in there was an entire wall describing different s*xualities giving definitions of things like pans*xual and lesbian.
“My child is five, I don’t understand what possible justification there is for exposing them to s*xual identities like this.”
While the daycare reportedly contacted the police, the parent was later reassured that they hadn’t committed any offense and that there were no pending cases against them.
Since the confrontation, photos showing the insides of a classroom at Roseville Kids Club have emerged.
As seen in the pictures, the Pride flag displayed near the middle of the roam is bigger than other banners including country flags.
On one section of the wall, one can also see at least 12 flags related to s*xual orientation as part of the center’s presumed attempts to teach children about inclusivity.
