“Every Breath He Takes Is One My Daughter Doesn’t”- Mom Of 7-Year-Old Girl Who Was KIDNAPPED & Killed By FedEx Driver Breaks Silence


The mother of the young girl who was kidnapped and then brutally killed by a FedEx driver is finally breaking her silence on the matter.

According to reports from local media outlets, young Athena Strand happened to be playing inside her backyard when the FedEx mailman came to drop a delivery and opted to take her along.

He then chose to murder her, leaving her loved ones heartbroken beyond words can explain.

Now, her mother is putting forward her grievances on the situation during her first television interview. Maitlyn Gandy who is the victim’s mother mentioned how hard it has become for her to reflect on her daughter’s life.

She similarly spoke about how much she wishes to see the killer get the death penalty for the heinous crime he committed and for destroying her and her family’s life forever.

“This was my little baby. She did not deserve this”- the mother continued to mention while wiping away her tears. Similarly, she added how every breath he takes today is one that her daughter doesn’t. And she hopes justice prevails so the family can receive the closure on the matter that they deserve.

Little Athena had been abducted from her dad’s residence that’s located in Paradise in Texas. The suspect was identified as Tanner Horner who ended up committed to the crime and how he brutally murdered her after taking her into the woods.

During the tragic and chilling 20-minute-long interview, Gandy spoke about informing how her family has really been coping hard to deal with the unfortunate tragedy.

Meanwhile, the suspect is currently being held on charges related to capital murder and aggravated kidnapping in Wise County, Texas.
