Bahamian officials are now sending samples obtained from their remains, and also those from the rooms where they were staying, to a laboratory to help determine the cause of death.

The American labs will determine whether there are contaminants present in their rooms and surrounding areas when they tragically died.

Rolle said on Monday: “We really want to know what caused this,” adding that the results will be ready in about a week.

When asked what he thought might have caused the deaths, he said: “I’m not going to speculate.”

He also said that all four tourists visited a doctor the night before their bodies were found, complaining of feeling ill.

Bahamian officials have said that none of the tourists showed signs of trauma. Foul play is also not suspected.

When Donnis from Florida woke up, she found herself paralyzed and her late husband unresponsive.

“’She woke up and my dad was laying there on the floor, and she couldn’t move,” he said.

“Her legs and arms was swollen and she couldn’t move and she screamed to get someone to come in the door.”
