Shocking reports coming in from Uganda have spoken about an American couple being slammed with the death penalty.

Sources from local media outlets went on to describe the horrific behavior employed by the couple against their foster son who was described to be suffering from the likes of HIV.

The couple was blasted with charges linked to child trafficking in addition to the charge linked to torturing their son.

Both Nicholas and his wife Mackenzie have been in custody in the country since December 9, the country’s authorities have confirmed.

The couple was first battling the charge of abuse of their foster son and now child trafficking charges have made matters worse for the two of them.

The HIV-positive boy who was living under their care in the suburban area of Kampala was treated with abuse of the most terrifying kind.

The couple made the child suffer in whatever ways they could. They were forced to roam around without any clothing and served cold meals. Similarly, he would be forced to walk barefoot and squat in awkward positions. They were reported as enjoying his suffering.

At the moment, the couple who hails from the US is being held at the maximum security prison. And that is confirmed to be a jail center of the highest security in the country.

This is also where so many death row inmates are held, sources have confirmed.

Officials claim that the charges placed against them are of the highest degree. And if they are indeed found guilty, they would be facing death row.
