A woman says she ended up marrying herself but just after a period of one day, she started to get tired and bored. Therefore, she immediately began considering a divorce.

Now, she’s sharing her story online with the hopes of attaining some reactions from complete strangers and as you can imagine, it’s definitely a unique ordeal.

The concept of marrying one’s self is not something that a lot of people have heard of. But when we say marry yourself, we mean going through every aspect of tying the knot, including exchanging vows.

Sofi Maure who hails from Argentina says that life is really difficult sometimes and it might make you do things that you probably did not ever feel or believe you had signed up for.

But this young woman who is clearly in a league of her own says she was feeling adventurous and self-obsessed and so what better way to love one’s self than tying the knot alone?

As you can imagine, the thought of announcing her nuptials to the world did not go down well with loved ones and those that were her friend. They clearly felt she had lost it and were even thinking of advising her to seek professional help.

After all, such behavior was unheard of in her nation and especially in her family. But despite all the criticism that came her way, she started to prepare for her big day.

The social media star who has thousands of followers on TikTok claims to have even bought her own dress and a cake to celebrate but the happiness did not last long.

After just one day of taking part in her nuptials, she wished to seek a divorce. “Just one day in my own company was daunting, I felt restricted and I needed to get out of this marriage”- she added.

“I struggled with my own company, this is not for me!”- she concluded.
