The firm’s earnings report wasn’t quite expected, especially when comparisons were drawn to the previous year. The drop came after the company made the decision to kick out rowdy teenagers that it felt were adding nothing to the organization.

This news was confirmed by the firm’s CEO who says the Texas-based theme park needed to make the change for a more prospective future ahead.

Let’s not forget how the firm’s shares were seen tumbling down to just $21, which was an 18% drop on Thursday. The result came just a few moments after the company declared how the attendance at its theme parks was down by 22%, from what we witnessed in 2021.

But the drop could also partly be blamed because the company found it ok to suddenly raise its ticket prices, right after it offered so many ticket discounts in the past year, as revealed by the executive named Selim Bassoul who was seen speaking to analysts during the firm’s earnings call meeting.

“So, in all reality, we only got the discounter or we ended up being a daycare center that had to take care of teens”- Bassoul added. “They were coming in during their breaks and the summertime”- he mentioned.

But that’s just the beginning as reps for the company confirmed how things really got out of control at the theme park.

It’s not common to see serious fights break out at the theme park for teens getting arrested for aggravated assault in terms of attacking cops who try to intervene and handle the matter.

Just last year, so many fights erupted inside the park’s parking lot during Fright Fest, where videos went viral featuring young women brutally assaulting one another.
