44-year-old Quiana Mann was reportedly shot by her son in the face while she was doing laundry at their home in Milwaukee at around 7 am on November 21.

The next day, he bought himself an Oculus VR headset using his mother’s Amazon account before telling he apologized to his grandmother for shooting his mother and asking where his package from Amazon was.

The young boy has been charged with first-degree homicide and will be tried as an adult.

Grieving family members said that he hears imaginary people and has ‘rage issues.’

According to criminal charges seen by the Journal Sentinel, the 10-year-old initially told cops that the shooting was an accident, claiming his mother walked in front of him while he was aiming at a wall.

But in another interview, he said that he aimed at his mother before shooting her in the face.

After the incident, the boy put the gun back in the closet and told his sister, 26-year-old Brianna Moore, that their mother was dead.

Moore quickly called 911.

The boy is currently being held in juvenile detention but Wisconsin law requires children as young as ten to be charged as adults for serious crimes.

His sister and aunt said he never showed remorse and had also attacked his younger cousin that same day.

Relatives said he has ‘concerning’ mental health problems and has also showed disturbing behavior in the past.

His family revealed that when he was 44, he swung their family’s dog around by its tail.

Just months ago, he filled a balloon with a flammable liquid before setting it on fire, burning furniture and the carpet. But when asked why he did it, he said that his ‘two sisters told him to do it.’

The boy’s attorney, Angela Cunningham, described the shooting as an ‘absolute family tragedy.’

But she also said that the adult system wouldn’t be ‘equipped to address the needs of a 10-year-old child.’
