JUST IN: 3-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling Of A Boat During Family Vacation


A young boy died in a horror accident after falling off a boat while vacationing with his family.

3-year-old Walter Enslin Greer from Salt Lake City was enjoying a boat ride at the Echo State Park Reservoir with his family when he suddenly lost balance and fell overboard.

After plunging into the water on Sunday afternoon, the boy was struck by the boat’s propeller and killed in an instant.

According to the reports, the boy was wearing a lifejacket at the time of the accident. By the time he was pulled out of the water, however, he was no longer alive.

It was also revealed that the child was on a boat ride with his mother, father, and his two older sisters.

“It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Walter Greer,” the boy’s aunt, Allison Meakin, wrote as she launched a GoFundMe page to help Walter’s grieving parents pay for the funeral costs.

“On Sunday, August 13th, Walter died in a boating accident at Echo Reservoir while enjoying a day on the lake with his parents, two sisters, and dear friends.
