PICTURED: 3-Year-Old Boy Who Tragically Died After Falling From A 17th-Story Apartment


The family of the 3-year-old boy who plunged 170 feet to his death has spoken out and paid a tribute to the young child.

Little Lamar Roach Jr. from Chicago, Illinois, suffered fatal injuries after plunging from an apartment window on the 17th-floor.

While it was previously reported that the boy fell to his death after managing to pull open the window screen, the case remains ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.

Following the young boy’s unfortunate incident, Edrick Robinson shared a picture of the 3-year-old on Facebook where he wrote:

“Rest in love to my youngest G-son Lamar Roach Jr… Paw paw loves you.”

Days later, celebrity stylist Law Roach also spoke out on social media and identified himself as the deceased boy’s uncle.

“Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. This is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to deal with. No one should have to bury a 3 yr old baby,” the 43-year-old wrote.

Sharing a report about his nephew’s death in one of his Instagram stories, Roach added: “I keep reading this over and over hoping to not recognize his name … my God! … I love you all especially my Tribe.”

As of this writing, Lamar’s death remains under investigation, whereas the police reportedly don’t suspect any foul play.

The Chicago Tribune also confirmed that the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services has joined the investigation and that the service previously had no issues with Lamar’s family.
