A 69-year-old Bishop was recently shot dead at his residence in Los Angeles.
Sources from local media outlets identified the victim as David O’Connell, calling the incident extremely suspicious as the hunt for the bishop’s gunman is on.
David O’Connell was reportedly found dead inside his Los Angeles home over the weekend. He was covered with a gunshot wound on his upper torso regions, the cops went on to mention.
The police reportedly arrived at his residence during the afternoon hours on Saturday after calls were made about a possible murder. That is when they found him lying dead on the ground. Paramedics rushed to the scene but it was too late, sources went on to mention.
“We received calls about a man who was not responding at his given address. We did not know what to make of it but when we arrived, we found the honorable bishop lying dead on the floor”- the Deputy Sheriff confirmed.
Now, the LA Sheriff’s department is conducting an investigation to determine what exactly went on that day as the details are awfully suspicious.
For now, it’s not quite clear whether or not a firearm was located in the residence where the bishop was found dead.
In the same way, they are yet to rule out the possibility of homicide as they feel the incident is just too early to draw conclusions from without a proper investigation.
