Lisa Marie Presley was back on opioids and taking on weight loss medications in a dire attempt to shed as much weight as possible, just weeks before her death.
The terrifying news was confirmed by her family who recently released a statement on the news that has left fans and followers devastated.
But that is not all, the celeb also underwent a major plastic surgery procedure two months before her death.
Insiders mentioned how the singer was not too happy with her current appearance and wanted to appear slimmer. She was losing weight fast and had returned back to her usual meds and opioids to achieve the look at any cost.
Insiders were seen mentioning to local media outlet TMZ how Lisa had already lost 50 pounds but she was not done yet.
Her fitness regimen was as strict as can be and she wanted to keep it that way until she fulfilled her target weight for the mega Elvis awards season.
Those who saw her at the Golden Globes were seen questioning her stance and if she was feeling alright.
The Golden Globes were reportedly held just a few days before her death. And the slurred speech was common when the singer started to give out an interview to one news outlet called Extra TV.
Just a few days later, she was seen being rushed by the paramedics to a nearby medical facility. And that’s when it was confirmed that she was suffering from a double cardiac arrest.
She was so unsteady that she had to grab her friend’s army during the interview and whether or not it had to do with opioids in her system, no one knows.
