Two babies were killed alongside their parents in a horror head-on collision.

21-year-old Melodi Boivin and 23-year-old Xavier Caballero were driving through Lubbock, Texas, with their two young children when a wrong-way driver plowed into the family at around 1.30 am on Sunday.

According to the reports, Caballero and Boivin, who was pregnant at the time of the incident, died in the horrific crash. Their children Lezlie, 1, and Marcellus, 2, were also killed in the collision near Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Boivin’s unborn baby could not be saved.

The driver of the SUV that crashed into the family’s minivan, 46-year-old George Wallace, was also pronounced dead on the scene.

A family friend has since the shocking news launched a GoFundMe page to help the shaken family pay for the funeral expenses they are facing.

“Hi everyone, my name is Kittye Tannery and I am creating this fund for a close family friend Janice,” the fundraiser reads.

“Janice’s Granddaughter Melodi, Melodi’s husband Xavier, and their two babies, were all involved in a fatal head on collision. 4 funerals are a lot and I know Janice will appreciate any help we can give. ALL funds will go to funeral. Please keep the family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of Melodi Boivin, Xavier Caballero, Marcellus Boivin, Lezlie Caballero and Melodi and Xavier’s unborn baby.”

Friends and relatives have since the incident taken to social media to pay the deceased parents a tribute.

“Still in shock. Xavier Caballero you were a great friend whom I shared many memories with. Doesn’t feel real. Rest easy old friend,” one friend expressed.

“I’m sorry you are gone. You were so amazing and it was an honor to be your friend. You lit up the room with good vibes and you were just an amazing person in general. My condolences to both families. I love yall rest easy,” another wrote.
