A couple’s argument has ended in the most horrifying tragedy imaginable after a husband was seen stabbing his wife to death, right before he took his own life.
Sources from local media outlets have gone on to speak about how the gruesome killings took place over a small argument that was blown up in proportion. But the saddest part of this all had to do with the fact that the couple’s young kids were forced to witness the horrifying murder of their parents in front of their eyes.
The couple’s loved ones say the kids have been scarred for life as they saw their parents be killed over a senseless act. And now, they’re orphaned for life.
Officials identified the suspect as 31-year-old Oscar Mercado Salazar who stabbed his wife named Byanca Crus Tovar. She was just 26 and it all happened inside the family’s home, where all of their three young children were present.
Source from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department claims to have been first alerted to the residence in Deltona, Florida. This is when a neighbor went about reporting a 10-year-old who ran into his home claiming that his stepdad had committed the evil crime of stabbing and killing his mom.
“He was crying and screaming. I didn’t know what to make of it. I rushed inside to see what the matter was all about”- he added.
The boy also mentioned to the neighbor that his stepdad tried to kill him too but he managed to get away soon.
Deputies pronounced the suspect and his wife dead at the scene of the crime. But it is believed that his wife had a faint pulse before she was declared dead by medical experts.
