JUST IN: Amber Heard Admits She Is TERRIFIED Her Ex-Husband Johnny Depp Will SUE Her For A Second Time

Amber Heard has admitted that she is terrified her ex-husband Johnny Depp will sue her again after she was already found to have defamed him in her 2018 Washington Post op-ed.

She has expressed concerns and fears that the verdict may not have been the end if she tries to continue making the same allegations about the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

In an interview with NBC’s Dateline, the 36-year-old said she ‘took for granted’ what she thought was her ‘right to speak.’

“I’m scared that no matter what I do or what I say or how I say it – every step that I take will present another opportunity for this sort of silencing, which is what, I guess, a defamation lawsuit is meant to do – to take your voice,” she told Savannah Guthrie.

The Aquaman star’s remarks echoed the statement she shared on Instagram after the verdict, when she said that she was ‘disappointed’ to have ‘lost a right to speak openly and freely.’

She also claimed that the verdict “sets back the idea that violence against women needs to be taken seriously.”

Despite her fears that Depp may sue her again, Heard said she will continue to stand by ‘every word’ of her testimony until her ‘dying day.’

The actress said that she does not ‘blame’ the jury, describing herself as ‘not a likeable victim’ and ‘not a good victim.’

“What I learned in that trial is it’s never going to be good enough. If you have proof, then it was a scheme, it was a hoax. If you don’t have proof, it didn’t happen,” she expressed.

After Heard’s interview, a representative for Depp told insider that his ex-wife was trying to ‘reimagine’ what happened in the trial.

“It’s unfortunate that while Johnny is looking to move forward with his life, the defendant and her team are back to repeating, reimagining and re-litigating matters that have already been decided by the Court and a verdict that was unanimously and unequivocally decided by a jury in Johnny’s favor,” the spokesperson said.
