Amber Heard is accusing Johnny Depp of carrying out abuse so severe that her makeup team was forced to conceal her bruised and battered face using makeup.
According to local media reports, the actress took to the witness stand again and explained in detail how she was battered in a manner that showed so clearly on her face. Therefore, she was left with no choice but to allow her makeup team to work around those lesions with strong concealing efforts.
This included the use of heavy red matte lipstick that really disguised all the trauma that she endured, one day before her pubic appearance on the James Corden Show.
The incident dates back to December 2015 and that’s when the actress broke down emotionally and tried hard to explain how her then-husband had punched her, headbutted her, and then even tried to suffocate her. This left her looking like a trainwreck and since the show’s appearance was confirmed through prior commitments, she had no choice but to attend.
“I thought I was going to die. That’s how bad he beat me and then tried to suffocate me using a pillow”- she recalled with great trouble.
“My cuts and bruises were there. They were fresh and it could only be disguised with heavy makeup which is what my team did”- the actress continued.
Heard again reiterated how her lip was so bloodied that she feared entering the studio and people recognizing her abuse. Therefore, she heavily relied on her makeup squad to make the difference and she says they did a good job at disguising it all.
