Amber Heard was recently seen in the courtroom again today as she made her way towards the witness box and began to make some bombshell revelations about her relationship with Johnny Depp.
According to local media reports, the actress broke down into tears and tried to explain to jurors how hard of a decision it was for her to file for a divorce against Johnny Depp.
In the same way, the actress shed light upon how she feared she wouldn’t have been able to survive if she didn’t file for divorce from the actor, that’s how scared she was around his presence.
Heard continued to sob and found it hard to speak as she appeared to be all choked up for words while trying to give her testimony on the incident.
“It was my safety fears that led me to do what I did in the end. I had to take a stand for myself and at that time, it was the best decision that I could think of”- the emotional actress mentioned in the courtroom.
The Aquaman actress also shed light upon how difficult it was for her as she didn’t really want to leave Johnny Depp but at that time, she had to put her foot firm on the ground and think about the long term,
On the other hand, the actress began to mention how she had even gotten a restraining order after filing for divorce and that just goes to show how much she feared for her life.
“We had an argument where Johnny struck me with his phone. I knew that was the point where I needed to do something quickly because things were getting out of hand quickly”- she continued.
While the actress did reportedly call up the police after asking him for a divorce as the couple entered an argument, she did not file a police complaint against Depp and instead felt a restraining order would be best.
