BREAKING: Alec Baldwin Is Sued By THREE ‘Rust’ Crew Members

Alec Baldwin has been sued by three of his ‘Rust’ movie crew members after the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The embattled 64-year-old actor recently pleaded not guilty to involuntary slaughter after being charged with accidentally killing Hutchins on the Rust set in Santa Fe, New Mexico, back in October 2021.

Now, Baldwin and Rust Movie Productions have also been hit with a lawsuit by three staff members who claimed they’ve developed anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder due to the shooting on the set and the death of one of their crew members.

The three staffers include key grip Reese Price, set costumer Doran Curtin, and dolly operator Ross Addiego.

In the suit, the plaintiffs insist they suffered “blast injuries” after the gun went off in their presence. They also claim to be suffering from PTSD and anxiety.

“These injuries were caused by Defendants’ failure to follow industry safety rules. Defendants cut corners, ignored reports of multiple, unscripted firearms discharges, and persisted, rushed and understaffed, to finish the film,” the filed document reads.

“Plaintiffs are entitled to damages for their injuries caused by Defendants’ negligent and reckless conduct.”

The news comes after New Mexico prosecutors charged Baldwin with involuntary slaughter despite the actor maintaining innocence and claiming he didn’t pull the trigger while rehearsing a scene from the movie.

“Standard protocol is the armorer is to show the actor the firearm, pull the bullets out in front of the actor, and demonstrate there are no live rounds (but dummies) in the firearm. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed did not do this protocol in front of Baldwin. Baldwin did not object,” the investigators said.

Fighting back against the involuntary manslaughter charge, which could land the actor in prison for 18 months, Baldwin insisted he didn’t pull the trigger while calling actions against him a “terrible miscarriage of justice.”

“Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun – or anywhere on the movie set. He relied on the professionals with whom he worked,” his attorney, Luke Nikas, said.
