JUST IN: Parent’s Heartbreak After 5-Year-Old DIES After Being Struck By Van


A young and loving 5-year-old passed away after being struck by a giant van.

According to sources from local media outlets, the loving child was riding his bike when a single-vehicle collision with a van left him with serious injuries. And in the end, that took away his life.

The victim was identified as Ollie Simmons-Watt. Moreover, it’s believed the child happened to be on the bike when he was brutally struck, right before he passed away tragically at the hospital.

The police claim the horrifying accident is beyond devastating and are now conducting a probe to see what really went on. Similarly, they’ve even asked witnesses to come forward and assist as they need all the help they can get.

The exact location of the incident was identified as Limavady that’s located in the county of Londonderry in Northern Ireland. It was during the afternoon hours on Thursday, leaving so many people weeping their hearts out at the ordeal.

A sergeant named Amanda Mclvor says the incident had been reported around 3:40 pm and that’s when a van hit the child located in the Irwin Avenue Area.

The neighbors and the child’s friends and the community are beyond heartbroken regarding the death of little Ollie. They remember him as a guy with the most infectious smile and someone that was always full of great character and much love.

“It’s a major loss to the community. This road had been closed for a while and now seeing something like this take place is horrifying!”- the neighbors revealed.

After the investigations, the road is reopened but many are haunted by the accident as they know this is where the little boy lost his life in the most heartbreaking and senseless tragedy imaginable.
