With the pandemic still looming over the world, working from home has become a norm. Therefore, it’s not uncommon to see the corporate world and every other sector make use of Zoom for online business meetings and presentations.

But this is one story that has its own personal twist that might leave you baffled for words.

A mother claims she was shocked to hear one of her colleagues bash out at her for breastfeeding during a meeting. But her colleague had his own side of the story which he shared on Reddit recently. Now he’s asking audiences to take a read and see whether or not the mother’s actions were justified or not.

According to the colleague, the meetings held by the company don’t usually require the mic or the video to be on, unless you choose to speak or share something. But he claims that his colleague always has to be breastfeeding during the meeting. In addition, she likes to keep her mic and her video camera on.

Basically, he feels it sets the stage for an awfully awkward situation as a whole. But being the gentleman that he is, he didn’t shame her publicly. Instead, he went ahead and messaged her privately to avoid creating a major scene.

“We don’t see her full breast but she certainly doesn’t cover them up,” he added. Moreover, he spoke about how it’s a very strange affair altogether and one he wished he never came across for days.

“I didn’t ask publicly, I did it privately too,” he added. But the mum’s reaction was unbelievable. She turned into a raging ball of fire and didn’t like his gesture one bit.

Reddit users claim that breastfeeding has a time and a place and meetings on Zoom are definitely not it. “She could have excused herself from the moment instead of leaving the mic and camera on,” another mentioned.
