One mum is going viral after she threw her young daughter a party for all the wrong reasons.
According to media reports, Lee Ann is very keen on finding the perfect match for her young child. But if we told you that her daughter is just 10 years old, would you believe us?
Better known by many as the traveler mum, Lee Ann spoke about how she intends on finding a husband for her child at the tender age of 10, which she finds to be very acceptable in her books. But what really raised eyebrows is how she didn’t mind her daughter getting pregnant by the age of 14 too. Yikes!

A party of the most unique kind
Lee Ann is a traveler mum from Philadelphia. Reports claim that she brought plenty of shame to her family. In the past, she married a non-traveler named Joe, who many family members didn’t approve of. But now, she plans on getting back into their good books by marrying her daughter off.
Young Mary is just 10 years old but that clearly makes no difference to her mum. For her, she is old enough to meet her destiny and that means love in the form of a husband through a party. How’s that for a unique affair?
Moreover, the mum explains how she is very keen on finding a ‘good gypsy boy’ so that she can settle down forever. However, young Mary is clearly not on board with her mum’s strange decisions.
At 10, it’s the last thing a child should ever have to worry about. But clearly, that’s not the case with her mum who feels she is ready and mature enough to enter into her life’s next chapter.
Young Mary- torn apart between her parents’ decisions
Speaking out to TLC’s famous Gypsy Brides US show, Mary went as far as mentioning how her parents argue a lot. “My mom scolds me all the time. She wants me to turn into a typical housewife,” the child added.
Be it cooking, cleaning, and so on and so forth- reports reveal how Lee Ann gave her young daughter all the necessary training for raising children and a home. On the other hand, Mary added how her dad feels that she could become a great writer. “I want to have both. I just don’t want to have one of those options in my life,” added the young girl.
When the subject of young Mary’s upcoming 10th birthday party comes into question, it wasn’t long before her parents’ butt heads. It was an unbelievingly rare and stupid call, that’s what Mary’s dad felt about his wife’s party plans.
A birthday party went wrong
Calling it her young Mary’s birthday party, Lee Ann made it very clear how keen she was to search for her daughter’s future husbands. Clearly, she didn’t have just one particular candidate in mind.
“There need to be several future husbands at the party. Also, the families need to be there too so they can get a good look at Mary,” exclaimed the traveler mum.
Mary’s dad, Joe, felt horrified just thinking about his wife’s proposal. She is just far too young to consider something as serious as marriage at this age,” he added.
But Mary’s mum doesn’t plan on letting go without a fight. Therefore, she mentioned how age made simply no difference to her or anyone else. “14 or 40, what difference does it really make,” claimed the mum.
Lee-Ann holds the concept that if her daughter turns 18, no boy would want her anymore. And that scares the living daylights out of her.
