A US mom has spoken out about her “crowning achievement” as she revealed she makes butter and ice cream out of her breast milk.
Laura Hall is a proud mother and a TikTok user who surprised her followers after sharing a detailed video in which she explained how she managed to prepare butter out of her breast milk.
“I’ve done it — I’ve made butter out of my breast milk. I don’t know if I’ve ever been more proud,” the woman said as she showed her creation to the world. “There’s my butter — my butter, my udder butter,” she added.
As she soon realized, however, the fruits of her labor came along with a vomit-like taste that made her gag upon food testing.
“To me, it tastes like, you know, when you burp and it kind of tastes like throw-up,” Hall admitted in a follow-up video after trying out her udder butter.
Her loving partner, however, was more generous as he gave the butter a “5 out of 10” and insisted that he would eat it if he was very hungry.
After her clips went viral, the mother also posted a detailed guide on how to make butter out of breast milk in response to users who wanted to learn the practice for their own needs.
Seeing that people are interested in homemade products made out of breast milk, Hall also went on to create a recipe for ice cream made out of breast milk.
As she later insisted, her 3-year-old daughter “approved” the new product.
