A mother has slowly turned into the talk of the town after she was allegedly caught breastfeeding her baby while driving on the highway.
The unusual incident managed to garner plenty of attention from people across the board. And it’s leaving the internet divided in terms of differences in opinion.
Raquel Reynolds was caught breastfeeding and navigating her way through the highway with one hand recently. And while some agreed with the mom on her decision which occurred at a desperate time, others spoke about how she had no choice at all when it came to her hungry and cranky baby.
The woman who hails from Brisbane in Australia mentioned how she was stuck in traffic and that spelled disaster for her because she had her baby with her. Since she was all alone and had no one to help her out, the woman opted to feed the hungry child while driving.
But then the mom decided to upload her video too and that didn’t go down too well with viewers who felt she should have acted more responsibly. “What she did was not only reckless and irresponsible, she put her life, her child’s life, and so many others’ lives in danger,” viewers said.
But after the severe backlash, the mom felt that enough was enough and it was time to take other people’s opinions on the matter. Taking her post public, the mom asked viewers to explain what they would have done in the same scenario.
Some mothers said that there’s nothing worse than a hungry baby and the screams are so intense that things get out of hand so quickly. In the same way, many felt that it was important to cut the mother some slack. After all, she is human and humans do make mistakes.
While the mom does acknowledge that what she did was dangerous, she also firmly believes that she simply had no choice. Do you agree?
