She even jokes about the whole thing, mentioning how it’s so much easier now. The mother chuckled while stating that she can now tell them apart with ease.
Since it’s all a major genetic quirk, one twin has fair skin while the other one has a dusky appearance.
Meet the beautiful sibling pair
In case you’re wondering who is who, well, we thought we’d go into the finer details of these miraculous twins. Jaziyah has lighter skin with straight hair. On the other hand, his sister Naylah is the exact opposite. She comes with a dusky and darker skin tone. Also, her hair is super curly too.
Now, the 32-year-old mum is going viral with her family affair as the internet can’t handle it. Interested and keen on figuring out how it all came about, the mother revealed details to news outlets.
On that note, she mentioned how the kids have a black dad. However, since Kayleigh comes from a mixed-race, her kids have mixed genetic traits too. The new mum’s father is Nigerian while her mother is English. With that said, Kayleigh never imagined in her wildest dreams that her kids would appear like this.
More striking details revealed
Kayleigh didn’t have the easiest labor affairs too. According to her, both the kids arrived after such a long delay. Moreover, the parents’ didn’t even spot the skin color difference, until the very next day!
“I was in labor for several hours. In addition, doctors told me that I might need to go for a c-section on an emergency basis.”
Hence, after the miraculous twins arrived, the mum gave them a huge cuddle, and then fell asleep immediately. For this reason, she failed to notice any difference in them initially.
She added how Jordan, her husband, and she were so exhausted. But after looking at the babies, the very next day, it was shocking. “It was super shocking for us when we looked at our twins, the very next day. They were so different from one another.”
A true blessing indeed
Kayleigh looked at her husband and they just stayed quiet initially. What was going on? The fact that one child took after the mother and the other one after the dad is beyond anyone’s understanding. But again, it’s a beautiful affair and one they’re truly grateful for.
After all, it’s so rare and to be a part of this miracle is just beyond their understanding. But that doesn’t mean the twins aren’t similar. According to the new mum, they share quite a few similarities too. She gave particular reference to their chocolate brown eyes as well as face shape cut too!
