Alight, first things first, what is the challenge actually viewers, and why are they getting so perplexed while solving it! Okay, we’ll give you the answer to the first part of that question but we might as well pass on the next because that totally depends on you and the strategy you choose to employ.
Ok, so the question says that you have one 3L bottle as well as a 5L bottle at hand. Now, how would you go about measuring 4 liters of water by using the 3Lt as well as 5Lt bottle?
The Solution
The answer is as follows:
You fill first fill the 5-liter bottle completely and then pour the 3 liters into the 3-liter bottle. Next, empty the 5-liter bottle. The third step means pouring the remaining 2 liters in the 5-liter bottle into the 3-liter bottle. Again, fill the 5-liter bottle completely and pour 1 liter into the 3-liter bottle till it gets full. Now, you’ll have 4 liters in the 5-liter bottle. That is it!
