50-year-old MAGA mum, Therese Duke, who received a punch by a Black cop during the Capitol riots, lost her job recently.
The shocking incident left so many people questioning as to what really went on as images of the MAGA mum went viral. From the pictures, we can clearly see how the Trump supporter bleeds profusely from her nose. After that, images resurfaced showing great bruises from the aftermath.
In just a few days, we heard how the cop who carried out the act received a dismissal from her duties as a security official. But the drama continued when Therese Duke’s own employer released a public press release. It stated how it no longer chose to have her as a part of their organization.

Right after images of Therese Duke getting punched in the face went viral, her stressful journey of pain and tears began. According to media reports, the mother attempted to grab a black female security guard’s phone. And that’s when the guard gave her a mega blow to the face.
On camera, Duke bled greatly from the face as crowds of supporters tried to assist her. Moreover, viewers who saw the video also got the chance to hear the woman yell, ‘that black girl hit me.’
The MAGA supporter was a part of the mob who tried to enter the Capitol Building when former US President Donald Trump told his patriots to march on the Congress. However, Duke has a very different side of the story to tell.

The 50-year-old mum disagrees with all the allegations put against her. Moreover, she denies taking part in any form of violence during the Capitol siege that left 5 people dead and dozens wounded.
Yes, Therese claims that she is innocent and received a blow to her face for no reason. In addition, the MAGA mum went on defending herself with claims of her she was ‘just searching for a spot to dine.’ And that’s when the mob ousted her towards the Capitol building.
On the other hand, her daughter refuses to believe her mom’s appalling claims. She called her mum out after seeing her live on news channels. She even taunted and shamed her mother for attending such a violent rally.
‘Mom is that you? You stopped me from going to Black Lives Matter protests. You said the reason related to how they were violent. But what happened here?’ her daughter questioned eagerly.
Trump supporter dismissed from a job of 15 years
Duke also mentioned how she had to resign from her job of 15 years. As a loyal employee at UMass, the 50-year-old carried out her duties diligently. But that was simply not good enough. Her organization publicly mentioned how they would no longer work with her.
In the same way, Therese Duke believes the label will leave her jobless for years.
The organization’s statement read, “The employee in question is no longer a part of our company.”
Also, the black cop who punched Duke, Ashanti Smith, received charges for assault. However, she claims that she also did nothing wrong. In the same way, she added how she only acted in self-defense.
Today, the mum longs for a solution, breaking down into tears with no hopes of making a living.
