A Christian crowdfunding website raises over $500K for the teen who killed two protesters in Kenosha.

Who is Kyle Rittenhouse?
So Kyle Rittenhouse is basically a 17-year old teen who does not live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He traveled all the way from Illinois to join the protest but with an aim to ‘protect the streets’. The demonstrators held the protest in the wake of Jacob Blake’s unjust death who the cops killed.
After George Floyd, another Black man Jacob was brutally and wrongfully killed at the hands of cops. This flamed the BLM movement and the civil unrest that was already going on in the entire country. People started swamping the streets like a flood to demand justice for not only Blake but the entire black community. They were enchanting anti-racism slogans and some went a little way too far with the anger.

Rosenbaum threw a plastic bag on his face which missed him and then tried to wrestle his rifle away. This is when Kyle shot the 36-years old and he died at the spot. Soon after, Kyle tripped in the street and this is when Anthony hit him with his skateboard trying to take his rifle away.
Rittenhouse did another shot and this also killed Anthony and this is how he ended up murdering two innocent demonstrators. He also wounded a bystander, Gaige Grosskreutz, who was holding a handgun.
Rittenhouse turning himself in
Rittenhouse turned back to his home in Illinois turning himself in for a trial. The cops have charged him with first-degree intentional homicide and the authorities are keeping him at Illinois prison. His hearing will take place on 9th October.
He joined the last hearing from his detention center through an online link at ake County Circuit Court in Illinois. According to his lawyer, he was only defending his country as a patriotic man. There should be no charges against him in this case.
Kyle’s supporters’ reaction
It seems like Kyle has a lot of support and love from people that think the same stream. There are multiple fundraisers going on for him as he needs a hefty amount to bail out.
Thousands of people are donating for the cause and a lot of people are celebrating him. His fans are calling him a national hero on the platform and social media. There are protests going on right now in his support and against the charges. His bail is $2m and the websites have collected much more than that. However, no one is sure right now if the donations will be used for his bail or not.
Protests erupt for the release of Kyle Rittenhouse
A number of people are speaking up for Kyle. Proud Boys, a right-wing group, arranged a demonstration in Portland for the release of Kyle. They were holding placards in their hands.
Kyle’s lawyer has requested some time for preparation of defense as he says the case is complicated. They have now 14-days to prepare themselves before 9th October.
