An emotional Kyle Rittenhouse recently broke down into tears during his testimony which many law experts are referring to as ‘explosive’.
During the revelations, Kyle was quick and bold enough to admit how he had done absolutely nothing wrong, including how he shot down and killed two people, while critically wounding a third.
In addition to that, Kyle shocked many people after he spoke about how he was well aware that Joseph Rosenbaum was ‘unarmed’ yet the teen shooter fired bullets at him as an act of self-defense.
Rosenbaum had reportedly thrown a plastic bag at him and chased him but what he got in return was nothing but bullets being fired at him by the teen gunman.
During the cross-examination, Rittenhouse claimed that he knew exactly who the man was, repeating that it was Joseph. “He was completely unarmed when he ran towards me,” Rittenhouse began to explain to the jury. “That’s when I pointed my rifle at him in an effort to try and detract him,” he stated.
Similarly, Rittenhouse also acknowledge to the jury how he was well aware that pointing a rifle at someone is clearly something that should not have been done, considering the great dangers it comes with.
“He was chasing me and I was all alone. He even threatened to kill me, during the earlier hours of that night,” he added. I did not wish to shoot him,” the 18-year-old went on to testify.
Simiarly, Rittenhouse spoke about how he feared Rosenbaum, confirming that the latter did not touch his body at all that night. “I feared so much that he would take my gun away and then go about killing people,” he explained.
Experts are calling this a very riveting and emotional testimony that could go either way as the trial continues.
