A mother is demanding justice as her 6-year-old daughter died after a buggy carrying her and six other children flipped upside down.
Authorities described the joyride as a nightmare filled with horror as the devastating impacts of the crash still resound with so many people present at the scene.
The horrifying incident reportedly took place in Gippsland in Victoria, where the victim from the tragic incident was identified as Olivia Stevens.
She was reportedly visiting the farmland with her parents, which originally belonged to her family friends. But little did her parents know that their trip would end in utter devastation and disbelief as their daughter was tragically killed.
Witnesses claim that young Olivia was happily joyriding with six of her friends when all of a sudden, the buggy took a turn for the worst. It flipped upside, while all of the passengers were still on board.
The horrifying impact of the crash left the 6-year-old with critical injuries. Just a few days back, news relating to young Olivia fighting for her life became viral. But little did anyone know that she just would not be able to survive.
After the crash, paramedics rushed to the scene and tried to administer medical aid. She was soon airlifted by the medics to a nearby hospital but that was just not good enough to save her.
In the end, she died due to her injuries, leaving her mother and father shattered in absolute grief and disbelief. Now, the family longs for her loss, with the mother demanding justice.
“My house will never be the same without her,” she cried. While investigations into the horror crash continue, reports confirmed how the driver of the buggy has been charged for the crash that killed one and wounded several other children.
The vehicle which was driving off-road flipped and entered into a padlock, located at the Rosedale farm, during afternoon hours. It is still not clear as to what made the buggy flip in the first place but many presume that the young child squeezing into the 4 seater vehicle with several other kids could be a reason why.
