Horrifying footage was recently revealed where desperate Afghans plunged to their death after clinging on to a US aircraft that was mid-air.
At the moment, US troops are currently defending the country’s capital city of Kabul and its airport as thousands scramble to flee from the Taliban fighters that were fast encroaching their area.
On Monday, a giant US Air Force CR-17 jet arrived at Kabul’s airport amid the fury of panic. It was a huge sigh of relief as US soldiers took command, shooting down two armed Afghan militants as they started to storm the airfield.
But the sad attempt of three stowaways who opted to cling on the US jet was recently revealed. Their dead bodies were soon seen plunging from the skies. The viral footage of the harrowing incident covered all platforms of social media with many seeing the desperate attempts of the Afghan population to flee from the hold of the Taliban.
The video showcased thousands of individuals rushing on the runway. Despite numerous attempts and warning signals made by US soldiers to clear the area, the local Afghans refused to listen and decided to stand near the jet as it made attempts to take off. Soldiers fired shots into the air but still it was all in vain.
Soon, troops could be seen halting all the evacuation flights scheduled at the airport, as they made great attempts to completely clear the airfield using apache helicopters as well as plenty of gunfire too. In the end, the flights soon resumed after a span of 90 minutes.
The shocking news and chaos come at a time when Joe Biden displays a shameful silence and instead opts to blame the Trump administration for the mega foreign policy disaster that has gone on for nearly decades.
Clearly, this is a problem that President Biden was not anticipating. But now, it appears that Biden’s own words have come back to haunt him, just five weeks after he claimed that the US Embassy in Kabul would never be evacuated.
