One woman decides to help a homeless man by giving him some money. At the same time, she also decides to hand him cash. But little did she know about the surprise that awaits her, a few months later.

Meet Shelby Lynn Henry. She is a woman with a golden heart who brings forward a wonderful tale worth reminiscing. It all started one fine day as she helped a needy man.
It was way back in January when Shelby waited at a traffic signal, driving her truck on a winter morning. Suddenly, her eyes caught a glimpse of a homeless man. Quickly, she noticed how he was carrying a sign. The sign mentioned heartbreaking words, “Need a little help, will pay it forward.”
Being the wonderful person she was, Shelby just couldn’t resist. And that’s when she stepped out and decided to lend a helping hand.
Shelby explains her side of the story
“I just had to pull over. But at the same time, I also had to explain how I usually only give food and not money,” said Shelby. In the same way, she handed over her business card too, in case he ever needed to reach out or wanted a place to live.
Shelby worked for real estate and therefore it made absolute sense as to why she would hand over her business card.
Meanwhile, while sharing her side of the story, Shelby says that her heart sank upon looking at that sign. The words, “Need a little help,” really broke her heart. In the same way, she goes on to explain how she wasn’t too sure about whether or not the man was homeless or going through a hard period in his life.

The surprise of a lifetime
Not thinking too much about the situation, Shelby says that she never expected to see him again. However, little did she know that he’d cross her path again.
Months passed and Shelby continued to do what she did best, sell homes. One day, she got a call from a man who wished to see one of her homes. He specifically asked for her name and made an appointment.
Arriving at the new house, Shelby says that she got the shock of her life. The first thing she saw was a plump dog, peeking through a truck’s window. Next, she noticed a man who she instantly remembered.
Memories to last a lifetime
He was the same one who she helped, months ago. This time, however, he wore a fresh, crisp collared shirt. In the same way, he donned starched jeans and polished boots. What was he doing here?
For a second, Shelby stood in silence. She thought maybe the man from the streets scammed her. However, the happiness on the man’s face was just of a new kind. Shelby stopped doubting him and then heard his story.
He talked about how his ex-wife took everything away from him, other than his dog. Therefore, he just needed a little cash to get his feet back up on the ground. And it was all thanks to Shelby’s efforts that he was able to do so.
The man wanted to check out a house for his friend. Also, he wanted to pay her back, just like his sign promised. This tale clearly shows that you never know what someone is going through and hence, you shouldn’t judge.
