This incident occurred in Texas when a couple was about to get on a flight to Las Vegas but was interrupted and asked to reduce the weight of their bags before going into the plane.
The officials at the airport told Jared and Kristi Owen that their bags were 2 kilograms more in weight than the recommended limit. They instantly decided to take out some stuff from their bags as they were getting late. On opening the bag, they found their pet, a tiny Chihuahua, hidden in one shoe.
The couple was unaware of the presence of their pet inside their bag, and they were surprised to no end on seeing him there. Fortunately, a staff member at the airport offered her help to the couple asked them if they were okay if she took care of the little Chihuahua until they returned from Las Vegas.
Jared found this gesture pleasant and appreciated the help and services of the lady. The staff was so cooperative and didn’t consider that they were trying to smuggle the dog from Texas to Las Vegas. Instead, they were kind enough to offer help in taking care of the dog for the couple without charging a penny.
Kristi Owen and her husband were happy to find the dog in the bag on time; otherwise, the tiny Chihuahua would have been dead during the flight, which would be gloomy for them.
In the end, it was decided that the staff member, Cathy, who offered her help to the couple, took the little dog, and the couple was then allowed to get on board as the weight of their bags was reduced and was in the allowed weight limit.
