His father was 75-years old when Fish was born and only after 5-years he died. His mother did not have many resources for his upbringing so she admitted Fish along with his 3 siblings in an orphanage. He got pleasure in hurting others and himself and when boys were scared of him, it made him happy. Later when Albert’s mother took him out, he went to NY but he did not become healthy. Rather, he started finding ways to hurt himself and other people alongside his friends.
This is when he ended up hurting children by molesting them and raping them. Soon enough, he met someone who was fond of Cannibalism and Albert became interested in it too.

He kidnapped Grace, as he wrote in his Grace Budd letter, and did not tell family for 6-years. Her family was looking for her everywhere but finally one day they received a letter from Albert Fish.
