A 22-year-old Afghan refugee has been linked with the rape and murder of a 13-year-old girl from Austria.
According to local media outlets, the refugee is accused and now being wanted for the heinous crime with fears and panic spreading across the nation after upcoming details revealed more shocking news about him.
22-year-old Rasuili Zubaidullah is being named as a suspected killer that managed to enter the United Kingdom as an asylum seeker, with a false name attached to his identity. This is just weeks after he was accused of both sexual assault and murder of a 13-year-old victim named Leonie.
Authorities claim that the 22-year-old met the young teen on Instagram and then he gang-raped her, after which he murdered her.
In the same way, reports suggest that he sparked major fears over several border security guards, right after it was revealed yesterday that he crossed a major Channel on a boat comprising of refugees, claiming asylum using his fake identity.
But what really raised eyebrows is how he managed to get housing at a hotel in Britain using taxpayers’ money for nearly a fortnight, until his actual identity came out in the open.
Some reports go on to suggest how many immigration officers were not aware that the Afghan refugee was actually wanted for a series of crimes relating to an innocent teen in Vienna. But that was right up until they received information about his cruel acts from police officials in Austria.
On that note, he was immediately arrested by the officers from a hotel in Ibis, which is located in Whitechapel in East London. As a result, he now faces proceedings relating to extradition.
Without a doubt, the case has raised great alarm and suspicion with numerous fears regarding checks on refugees entering the country to help prevent such crimes from taking place.
