37-year-old Tomas Gimeno reportedly murdered 1-year-old Anna and 6-year-old Olivia before disposing of their remains in bags weighed down by an anchor.

Olivia’s body was found inside a sports bag over 3,000 feet underwater off Tenerife. The father and his youngest daughter are still missing but both are presumed dead.

A judge investigating the trio’s disappearance outlined the night Gimeno allegedly killed his daughters. She ruled that the criminal investigation should be handed over to a specialist domestic violence court.

According to reports, Gimeno disappeared after he told the children’s mother Beatriz Zimmerman that she would never see them again.

Judge Priscilla Espinosa Guterriez said: “The evidence points to Tomas Gimeno’s intention on April 27 when he took his daughters, being not to snatch them from their mum and take them to an unknown place, but to kill them in a planned and premeditated fashion to cause his ex-partner inhumane pain.”

The judge continued: “He allegedly deliberately tried to create uncertainty regarding the fate his daughters had suffered by hiding their bodies on the ocean bed after killiing them, choosing a place deep underwater and far from the coast where he thought they would never be found.”

“All this happened after he told his ex-partner and his close circle he was going to disappear with the girls and they wouldn’t be seen again.”

The judge outlined the hours leading up to the moment investigators believe the father took the lives of his children at his home between 7:50 pm and 9 pm on April 27.

The empty boat was found off Puertito de Guimar more than ten miles south of Santa Cruz hours after the three went missing.
