A heartbroken man whose dying wife’s final wish was to sleep with her ex one last time took to the internet to ask for advice as he didn’t know what to do.

Taking to Reddit, the husband explained that his wife was diagnosed with a terminal disease and only had less than a year to live.

“I am of course destroyed. We’ve been together for a decade. I don’t remember life without her and I don’t know what I’m going to do when she’s gone. I have been doing my best to make the last days of her life good and grant whatever wish I can,” he wrote.

The husband said that doctors told them his wife would need a wheelchair in four or five months, “then by month 8 she’ll be bedridden for the last few weeks.”

But while talking about the things she wanted to do before the unimaginable, the husband was left shocked as she wanted to sleep with her ex.

“So basically she thinks that her most physically compatible satisfying lover was him,” he wrote. “She gave a whole monologue about how s*x sometimes is just physical and how emotionally fulfilling sex is with me but it was bullshit to get to that point.”

The husband is now wondering if he should let his dying wife sleep with another man or deny her wish.

“Honestly I’m so pissed of and betrayed that she asked this of me,” he added. “I feel like I’m put in a position where I have to say yes because she’s dying.”

Reddit users were quick to share their thoughts on the matter, with one person writing: “I mean I’d leave her. She will die anyway and she made clear that doesn’t value you nor respect you nor give a shit about your feelings.”

Another said: “Let her go do what she wants and when she gets back you make sure you’re gone. Get all your legal affairs in order first tho. Let her perish with her ex since he’s so great. I hate foolishness.”

A third added: “I would just divorce her so she can make the choice herself.”
