A mother from Texas has reportedly been charged after her own son’s dead body was retrieved by officials from her car’s trunk at a COVID testing site.
The accused was identified as 42-year-old Sarah Beam who hails from Harris County in Texas. She has recently been charged for child endangerment, right after the COVID site director discovered her dead child inside her car’s trunk.
The health services director Bevin Gordon spoke about how he forced the mother to open her trunk for routine inspection and that’s when he made the horrifying discovery of the dead 14-year-old boy lying inside.
Meanwhile, the mother has gone on to mention how her son tested positive for COVID-19 and she had told him to lay inside the trunk so she would be prevented from being exposed.
Sources claim that the mother allegedly packed her son inside the trunk as she went about driving towards the testing site which happened to be located at Ken Pridgeon Stadium, right after he tested positive for the virus on the 3rd of January. And that means he was going back to get another test done.
The Cypress Fairbanks Police Department has reportedly issued an arrest warrant for the mother’s arrest on Friday after sources claim that her details about the harrowing story just were not adding up.
Police have gone on to speak about how the mother pulled towards the giant tent drive-thru set up that was on Falcon Road. And that’s when all of a sudden, the health services director says he heard a sudden coming from inside her vehicle’s trunk.
Authorities are yet to comment on whether or not the mother or son had been vaccinated as investigations into the bizarre case continue.
