Heartbreaking reports have gone on to confirm the death of a brilliant 12-year-old schoolboy who passed away in a horror car crash.
Ted Vines was on his way to play a football match when all of a sudden, his car was struck by a speeding vehicle in Lincolnshire near Bardney recently.
The young passenger was so excited to be playing on a Sunday morning but little did he know about the horror crash that awaited him.
Now, his grieving family is releasing a tribute as they recall the fun-loving and caring boy that he was.
Ted Vines’ car collided with another vehicle while on his way to the Branston stadium as reported by Grimsby Live.
It occurred on the B1190 at about 9 pm in the night and involved a silver-toned Mercedes Benz and a silver-colored Ford Galaxy. The victim was a passenger in the latter and his family claim that they are just heartbroken beyond words can explain what happened.
“Ted was loved by everyone and he was so happy all the time. Not only was he fun and brilliant but he also was surrounded by plenty of people who loved him dearly,” his parents explained.
“It was a big match for him and he was an important part of that team. Everywhere he went, he made friends and that is why he was such a special part of the community for everyone,” they went on to mention in an emotional tone.
The driver of the Mercedes was also severely injured in the accident and was rushed to a local nearby hospital.
A police officer following the case revealed how they are now appearing for any witnesses to come forward and give an account of the incident that took away the life of a brilliant schoolboy in an instant.
