A distraught mother is causing uproar after she revealed how she ‘forgave’ her husband for murdering their twins.
The mother claims that it may have taken her some time to grieve and get over the shocking incident that shook her family to the core but she forgave her husband, adding that it was a mistake.
Local media reports were quick to reveal how Juan Rodriguez forgot his own children inside a boiling hot car, right before he began his eight-hour-long work shift in 2019.
When he came back, he realized that his twins were still inside, and had passed away in the most tragic conditions imaginable.
But Marissa Rodriguez is now defending her husband, adding how it was a genuine mistake and that her husband simply blanked out, all of a sudden.
“I was shattered when he told me that he just forgot our kids in a car whose temperatures were soaring,” she revealed.
The father who is actually a veteran of the Iraq war left his babies in the backseat and began his long and tiresome shift at the hospital where he worked in Bronx, New York. Authorities revealed how temperatures reached 30 degrees centigrade that day, making it impossible for the one-year-old kids to make it out alive.
The accused pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges but avoided prison as the judge branded the entire case tragic, unfortunate, and beyond words can describe.
At the start of the case, the mother was reportedly recorded as stating how she would never find a way to forgive the father of her children for killing them. But as days passed on, the mother has changed her heart and mind, adding how she honestly believes that he would never do anything to hurt, let alone kill those that mean most.
