Having a family usually means that there is almost no ‘me time,’ especially when your kids always want to see you wherever you go.
But one woman who just wanted some peace has shared how she was left furious as her husband just won’t leave her alone when she’s in the shower.
Taking to Mumsnet, the frustrated wife explained that her husband always interrupts her when she’s finally having her ‘me time.’
“Every time I am in the shower my husband comes in. It’s usually to ask me about something he can’t find,” the woman expressed.
“This morning he did it and then left the bathroom door open. The in-laws are in the guest room and if they’d come out of their bedroom I’d have been seen stark naked in the shower.
“I completely lost my s*** with him.”
The wife explained that their bathroom door doesn’t have a lock because they don’t want their toddler to accidentally lock herself in.
Reddit users were shocked by the behavior of her husband, who couldn’t wait for his wife to come out of the bathroom before asking his questions.
One person commented: “Have you told him to not disturb you when you’re in the bathroom? Not asked, but told him.”
Another wrote: “The obvious solution is to fit a lock that you can undo from the outside by simply inserting the edge of a coin and turning it.
“They are not expensive, and I got them when my children were little, precisely to avoid the risk of them getting locked in while guaranteeing adult privacy.”
A third said: “Well your husband clearly has no respect for your privacy, so your options are to either get a lock or lose the husband.”
